Hi, I posted something like this before but more exposure can’t hurt. My family lives on one of the affected reservations in Minnesota. This is what their wild rice harvesting grounds (the world’s largest fyi) look like this year.
They took almost 5 billion gallons of water. They constantly fuck with the protestors. Wild rice isn’t just an economic thing for them, there is a deeply spiritual connection. Enbridge is awful, please help however you can, even if it’s just reblogging.

Bad Moon was legit one of my favorites as a kid. I haven’t actually, I’ll have to check that one out.
It’s a pretty excellent idea, werewolf in a retirement community. On the flipside High Moon is AWFUL, but it’s the only immortal old west werewolf hunter movie I know.
The title High Moon gives a pretty funny mental image but I just googled image searched it to see what’s up and now I’m just disturbed.
I’m not sure about the plot of Bad Moon because I’m too wrapped up in the sickass werewolf design. How have we gone so far backwards from this?
Badmoon is awesome.
Yes, it’s full of 90s tropes and it has a couple shots of terrible early 90s CG (they were bad when the film was new) but it’s practical effects were some of the best of that era and putting the film in middle-upper class suburbia added a sense of vulnerable “wrongness” to the movie that made it great.
In my top 3 werewolf films for sure.
The book it’s based on is written entirely from the perspective of the family dog, making it an interesting read for fans of the film.
Also the answer to which kind of werewolf is best is neither movies nor Furry.
